Recipe of the Week:Banana Oatmeal Muffins

Ingredients:

2 Cups Quick Oats

1 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce

2 Eggs

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla

1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

2 Bananas

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line muffin tin.
  3. In a food processor blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  4. Fill the lined muffin tin with batter 3/4 of the way.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Recipe of the Week: Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter at Room Temperature
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/4 Cup All- Purpose Flour
3/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Icing Sugar
Instructions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenhieght, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream butter and brown sugar until smooth. Mix eggs.
3. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Continue mixing until dough starts to form.
4. Using a tablespoon scoop the doughand roll in icing sugar.
5. Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies are cooked through with crinkles along the top of them.
